Installing ZNISMS Bulk SMS Software is very easy. Before Installation please keep this in mind that ZNISMS and Nokia PC Suite can not run side by side i.e. you need to disable Nokia PC Suite before start using ZNISMS Bulk SMS Software for Nokia CDMA and GSM mobiles.
 
Detecting Nokia PC Suite on the System
  1. Click on Start Menu
  2. Go to Control Panel
  3. Click on "Add and Remove Programs"
  4. If, in the listing you found "Nokia PC Suite" that's mean its installed on your system.
 
Disabling Nokia PC Suite

Check for the above phone ICON on the task bar; Just before the system clock. (If, this icon is present then it shows that your system have Nokia PC Suite).

Take your mouse over this ICON and then click RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON.

Here you will find "Manage Connections" tab. As highlighted above. CLICK on this button.

Here you will find all the connectivity methods available on your system. Some options are automatically selected depending upon the hardware available. UN SELECT (UN-CHECK) all the options as given below; (THIS STEP IS MOST IMPORTANT)

Now press "CLOSE".

 
Detecting PORT Number on which your mobile is connected.

There are two options to detect PORT number. Kindly check both the options.

OPTION-1

Click on the START Menu and then got "Control Panel" as highlighted above.

Here you will found "Phone and Modem Options". Select and open it.

Select the "Modems" Tab. Here you will find a list of all connected modems and their Port Numbers. Check the PORT No of your modem in "Attached To" column and in front of your modem's name.

E.g. we are using "Conexant 56K ACLink Modem" which is attached to COM3.

Now close all the windows.

OPTION-2

Click on "Start Menu". Click Right Mouse Button on "My Computer" then highlight the "Properties" tab and Left Click on it.

Got "Hardware Tab" and then click on "Device Manager".

Scroll down to "Ports" as above and check the connecting port in front of your cable name. Here we have connected Nokia CA-42 USB Cable for Nokia 6020 Mobile and it is connected on COM3.

Close all the windows without any modifications.

 
Configure ZNISMS Bulk SMS Software

Open our software ZNISMS.exe from the installation folder or from the icon given on Desktop.

Got File Menu and click "Configure Modem"

In this window you will find 5 Ports Tab and 1 Tab for Internet SMS. If, you are using single mobile or modem with this software then choose "Port 1" (Shown in blue circle above). Check the box given before "Activate Software Port".

Once you check this (Activate Software Port) all the options on that page activate automatically.

Now select the System Port No. on which your phone is connected. In our case it is COM3. Please keep in mind that this list will show all the currently available port. If, your modem port is not listed there that means your phone/modem is not currently connected properly with the system.

Now, select the Type of Mobile. Please be sure to choose correct type or otherwise software will not work properly.

In "Mobile Operator Name" field choose any unique name by which you can recognize this modem/mobile. This will require when you choose operator specific routing.

Click the "Apply" Button. You should receive "Port added successfully" message.

Now press "Update Settings". You should get message "COM Ports Updated".

 
Checking Phone is connected Properly

At the bottom of our software window you will get a message as above. It will show number of mobiles properly connected currently with the software.

 
Message Sending

This will show number of messages currently in Queue of delivery. This count should decrease in every 5 to 10 seconds or otherwise it states that there is some problem in connectivity.
